Yes

Breakthrough does not offer detox, however, we do coordinate with detox facilities.
What happens during outpatient addiction treatment?
Patients attend group and individual counseling.

Does Breakthrough Recovery Group provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT)?
We offer Suboxone, buprenorphine, though we are not a typical MAT program.
What is the difference between intensive outpatient (IOP) and standard outpatient treatment?
IOP is a higher intensity treatment than outpatient. During IOP, patients meet 3 or more times per week, in both group and individual sessions; in outpatient treatment, patients meet 1-2 times per week, in both group and individual sessions.
How does Breakthrough Recovery Group help with relapse prevention?
Helping patients identify their triggers and how to cope with those triggers in a healthy fashion.
Can clients continue working while attending treatment?
Yes, outpatient programs offer multiple times intended to work around a patient’s work schedule.

How does BTRG address co-occurring disorders like depression and addiction?
Patients can see our in-house MH counselor while attending SUD treatment, and can continue MH counselor after completing SUD treatment.

Can provide a safe space to learn coping skills, reframe negative thoughts, and safely process traumatic memories.

Patients complete some paperwork online, benefits are verified, they meet with a counselor to be assessed and sign up for treatment.

Typically within a few days.
How confidential is treatment at Breakthrough Recovery Group?
All patients are protected by federal confidentiality laws as well as HIPPA
What should clients bring to their first appointment?
Photo ID, insurance card, legal documents, if applicable.
Can clients participate virtually or through telehealth?
Most services are in-person. Appointments with medical providers are offered virtually, and some mental health sessions are also offered virtually.
What is the typical schedule for IOP sessions?
IOP is typically offered 3+ days per week, a minimum of 3 hours per day.
How long do most treatment programs last?
Typical length of stay is 8 months to one year.
Are there support groups available after completing treatment?
Not at the agency, though individual counseling is available.
How does BTRG support clients transitioning out of care?
Providing patients with the tools to support long-term recovery while in treatment. Always available to talk to patients after discharge.
Does Breakthrough Recovery Group offer alumni or aftercare programs?
No alumni programs at this time. Weekly aftercare is offered after IOP.

Most commercial plans and some Medicaid plans. Aetna, Premera, First Choice Health Network, Optum, Kaiser, Ambetter, Coordinated Care, CHPW, Wellpoint. As of 03.01.26, Asuris NW.

To verify benefits, utilize our website to submit insurance information or come in person to the office.
Are payment plans or financing options available?
We do offer monthly payment plans.

What are the out-of-pocket costs for treatment?
Varies, depending on insurance coverage.
Can self-pay clients receive a discounted rate?
We do offer a cash rate.

What if my insurance doesn’t cover addiction treatment?
It is very rare to find a plan without coverage for addiction treatment, however, monthly payment plans are available if a patient has no insurance coverage.
